How the light passes through a forest is always fascinating. This is what I saw during a hike at Caribou Ranch Open Space near Nederland, CO.

Capturing a moment, a mood, a thought is what motivates Joan Wolbier to create art. She works with a variety of media, always wanting to satisfy her curiosity and to challenge herself as a visual artist. During her career, Joan has studied figure drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and book arts. Her favorite medium is watercolor and she loves to paint landscapes, plants, and wildlife.
