I loved painting the soft shadow and pastel tones of the magnolia flower and contrasting it with the glossy leaves.

Capturing a moment, a mood, a thought is what motivates Joan Wolbier to create art. She works with a variety of media, always wanting to satisfy her curiosity and to challenge herself as a visual artist.
